TCL launches AI based P8 Series Smart TV, 27,990 initial price

It will find pre-installed apps like YouTube and Netflix

TCL has launched its new 4K AI Smart TV lineup in the Indian market. This includes the flagship P8S series, mid-range P8E series and Value for Money P8 series. All of TCL's smart TVs are based on the Android Pie operating system. It supports TV features such as Voice Interaction, AI Picture Engine and Smart Sound Engine, and features HDR 10, Micro Dimming support.

The high-end TCL P8S Smart TV Series includes TVs with 65-inch and 55-inch display sizes, priced at Rs 44,990. The TCL P8E includes 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch display size TVs while the P8 series will feature 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch display size TVs starting at Rs 27,990.

The company says that AI technology has been used in the new P8 series Smart TV, through which the TV gets better image and sound output. It will have pre-installed apps like YouTube and Netflix, as well as access to platforms like Hotstar, Voot, ALT Balaji. There are also features like Alexa and Google Assistant in all TVs.

The special thing in the smart TVs of TCL P8, P8E and P8S series is that it supports all voice interaction features i.e. the user can control it far from the sound. It also includes a feature of Bluetooth connectivity through which other audio devices can be easily connected to the TV. Apps and games can also be installed in TVs with the help of Google Play Store.
