Rajiv Gandhi General Knowledge Online Competition for youth and students is being organized on 13-14 September to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, in which students from the age group of 16 to 22 will participate. Speaking to reporters at the state headquarters on Saturday, the committee's national secretary Dheeraj Gurjar said that the Uttar Pradesh Congress is going to hold the largest online competition between students and youth in the Corona era so far.
The tag line of the competition is " I am young and I too have a dream". He said that Rajiv Gandhi's thinking was how to connect the youth beyond politics and they should have an important contribution to the vision of new India. Gurjar informed that on an average 16 thousand youths have applied from every district of the state. Congress Legislative Council party leader Deepak Singh said that the maximum nominations for the competition were from Prayagraj, Varanasi, Lucknow, Ghazipur and Kanpur. This competition will encourage the interest of students and youth in competitive examinations during this corona period, while the true knowledge about the great men and the glorious history of the country will be provided. Today, history is being distortedly presented to the youth.
